• Lord of the Rings trilogy: Extended versions of the film not previously seen in theaters. One movie each weekend. Tickets are $10 general, $8 for seniors and military. A three-movie pass is $24.

• “The Fellowship of the Ring”: 7 p.m. July 6, 2 and 7 p.m. July 7, 2 and 7 p.m. July 8.

• “The Two Towers”: 7 p.m. July 13, 2 and 7 p.m. July 14, 2 and 7 p.m. July 15.

• “The Return of the King”: 7 p.m. July 20, 2 and 7 p.m. July 21 and 2 and 7 p.m. July 22.

Reel World Cinema: The theme for this summer series of films is “Coming of Age: Courage Beyond Conformity,” stories of kids trying to negotiate the tricky passage from youth to adulthood. A potluck dinner runs from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by the film and discussion from 6 to 10 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The series runs through Sept. 7. • “The Graduate” July 20: Dustin Hoffman is Benjamin Braddock, newly graduated from college. He is trapped in an affair with Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft) as his attraction to her daughter, Elaine (Katharine Ross), grows (1967).

• “Stand by Me” July 27: Four boys in the fictional Castle Rock, Ore., set out on Labor Day to find the body of their missing classmate. The cast includes Richard Dreyfus (the grownup Gordie, the narrator) and Wil Wheaton (the young Gordie), River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Keifer Sutherland and John Cusack (1986).

• “Dead Poet’s Society” Aug. 10: Robin Williams is the inspiring new poetry teacher at and alumnus of the stodgy Welton Academy. He teaches his students to “seize the day” (1989).

• “Winter’s Bone” Aug. 24: An Ozark teenager, Ree, is forced to raise her two young siblings and care for her ill mother while hunting down her father so they don’t lose the house. Stars Jennifer Lawrence who went on to play Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games” (2010).

• “Never Let Me Go” Sept. 7: Three friends grow up in Hailsham, a strange boarding school until secrets are revealed. Starring Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightly and Andrew Garfield (2010).

• “The Amazing Spider-Man,” 11:30 a.m. and 2:15, 5, 7:45 and 10:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday; and 2, 4:45, 7:30 and 10:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
