You probably won’t see these flicks anywhere else.
Take in Spencer Susser’s zombie love story “Sara Jane,” be moved by Megan Griffith’s drama “Moving,” or see if you’d take a shine to Tor Fruegaard’s ultraviolent puppet epic “It Came From the West.”
There’s also Darrius Scheider’s “Fluffer” (his follow up to “I Married A Towel”) and Shawn Telford’s berserk foray into corporate sponsorship, “Lick a Ninja.”
These cinematic highlights are part of ACT Theatre’s celebration of “Rawstock,” a fifth-anniversary film screening that starts at 8:45 p.m. March 6 at ACT Theatre, 700 Union St., Seattle.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $23 at the door. Call 206-292-7676 or go to www.acttheatre.org.
The “Rawstock” film festival launched in 2004 as a showcase for raw, irreverent local filmmakers.
This year, there are more than 25 films to share, so the evening will be split into two screenings separated by a live performance by the Fred Roth Revue.
