The Hitchcock series: The final film in the series, “The Birds,” will be screened April 1 at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett; 425-259-7139. A potluck, open to everyone, runs from 6 to 7 p.m. The film will be shown at 7 p.m., followed by a discussion of Hitchcock’s depiction of inner turmoil, sin and mental illness. It’s free.
The remaining film is “The Birds,” April 1: Poor Tippi Hedren. She suffers so, thanks to the crows and seagulls of Bodega Bay. An all-star cast including Jessica Tandy, Suzanne Pleshette, Veronica Cartwright and Rod Taylor join the horror.
