Five things to check out at this weekend’s Everett Fall Home Show:

1. Staging Jedi

The Everett Animal Shelter will have dogs and cats ready to take home.

3. Write on!

Authors &Autographs area with about 25 Northwest authors on topics from A to Z. Chat with the writers about what makes them tick.

4. Solar power, baby!

“It’s your solar energy headquarters with about eight companies that specialize in solar power for your home,” event spokesman Bill Bradley said.

5. It’s a wrap!

The gift show has 75 vendors with spices, home accessories, paintings, clothing, jewelry, wood carvings and toys. Things that can’t be found in stores.
