Pancake breakfast and bake sale: The Edmonds Sons of Northway Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale is from 7:30 a.m. to noon May 5 at the Edmonds Masonic Center, 515 Dayton Street. The breakfast includes Norweigian pancakes with strawberries and syrup, ham, juice, coffee, tea and milk; $8 for adults and $5 for kids 6-10; children under 5 eat free. There also will be live music and arts and crafts. Free folk dance lessons for kids between 10 a.m. and noon.
Wetmore Food Truck Fridays: The Washington State Food Truck Association is teaming up with the city of Everett to bring food trucks to Wetmore Avenue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays. The plaza, 2710 Wetmore Ave., Everett, can host up to three trucks at a time and has outdoor seating. Visit www.wafoodtrucks.org or www.facebook.com/wafoodtrucklots to see which trucks will be there.

America’s Best Recipe Contest: Eggland’s Best is on the hunt for a new egg recipe. The 2018 Eggland’s Best contest invites people to show off their hometown pride and submit recipes featuring Eggland Best’s eggs combined with their favorite local ingredients or dishes. The winner gets $10,000. Deadline is April 30. Submit original recipes to www.americasbestrecipe.com.
Blue Moon: Olive Garden is partnering with Blue Moon Brewing Co. to mark the last blue moon until 2020. A 22-ounce Blue Moon Belgian White will be served in a commemorative pilsner glass until May 27. The limited-time glass is available for purchase. Cost is $2.99 each. The glass combines Blue Moon images, such as orange slices and wheat, with images of Olive Garden’s breadsticks and pasta.
