The power of antioxidants lecture with Jacob Waller and Leslie Lightner, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 17, $25. Class will cover the truth about antioxidants’ importance, which foods contain them, their health benefits and other topics.

The seduction of Thai cooking with Pranee Halvorsen, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sept. 18, $55; hands-on, limited to 18 students. Menu: leaf-wrapped ginger, lime, peanut, toasted coconut and pepper with Miang Kam sauce; coconut-milk based soup with chicken, lemongrass, kaffir lime and other spices; phad Thai; curry with beef; tapioca pearls with banana and coconut cream.

Introduction to Moroccan cuisine, with Julie Little, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sept. 24, $55; hands-on, limited to 18 students. Menu: eggplant puree with pita; fava, lentil and lamb soup; roasted pepper, lemon and parsley salad; diced carrots with cinnamon-orange dressing; ratatouille with dates; spiced tomato and honey coulis; sweet chicken phyllo pie; lamb and prune stew; coucous variations; almond-paste phyllo dessert.
