Soups in a snap with Leslie Lightner, noon to 1:15 p.m. Jan. 16, $22. Menu: Yankee corn chowder, two-mushroom barley soup, super-quick vegetable soup.

The well-balanced meal with Leslie Lightner, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 17, $25. Menu: Lemon-ginger chicken, bulgur and lentil pilaf, broccoli-cauliflower gratin and baked meringue apples.

Hearty dinner sandwiches with Conni Brownell, 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 19, $38. Menu: Meatball with tomato sauce on garlic bread; grilled vegetable hero with walnut and parsley pesto; shrimp salad sandwiches with spicy ranch dressing; roasted chicken with fig-cranberry sauce sandwiches.

The joy of Thai cooking with Pranee Halvorsen, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 23, $55. Menu: Garlic prawns with black pepper and cilantro; cellophane noodle salad with minced pork; sweet and sour soup with fish; basil-seafood stir fry; banana in coconut milk.
