Cascadia Culinary Arts Conference: More than 30 chefs, food writers, winemaker and food producers from Washington, Oregon and British Columbia share conversation and perspectives on the latest culinary styles, trends and outlooks, May 21 to 23. Symposium and seminars, book signings, famed authors and award-winning chefs. This year’s event takes place at both Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, a 250-seat theater in Langley, and Whidbey Institute, a forested conference and retreat center in Clinton. $195 full-conference.
