• Crab extravaganza: 6:30 to 9 p.m. April 5, $58. Selection, preparation and cooking dishes featuring Dungeness crab: Bourbon crab bisque; crab salad with bacon and avocado butter; crab and Oregon bay shrimp cakes; plus techniques and tips for getting the most yield from live and pre-cooked crabs.

• Essence of cooking: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, April 5 to June 22, $660. A 12-week culinary course includes lectures, written materials, demonstrations and hands-on lessons.
• Passover celebration:9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 6, $55. Dishes such as wild mushroom and asparagus frittata; smoked salmon matzo brie; roasted chicken with apricot glaze.
