Lynnwood’s two new spray parks are a blast for kids … a blast of cool water on a hot summer day.
Dragons and buckets and geysers will spray, spit, swirl and dump water on brave little bodies beginning June 5 at North Lynn-wood Park and Daleway Park.
The free spray parks will be open from noon to 6 p.m. daily through Sept. 6.
There are a few rules, of course: No food is allowed in the water area, no running on the spray pads and no soggy, droopy diapers in sight (keep them tightly covered).
North Lynnwood Park is at 18510 44th Ave. W., and Daleway Park is at 19015 64th Ave. W. Call 425-670-5732 or go to www.ci.lynnwood.wa.us for more information.
If the kids are itching for water play right now, the spray pad at Willis Tucker Park, 6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish, opens today. Water blasting hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a one-hour maintenance break from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
