With a bunch of shows still waiting to premiere, Fox officially made the first contribution to the Fall 2005 scrap heap when it announced “changes” to its Wednesday lineup today.
In a press release that doesn’t even mention “Head Cases” — I just love how they do that — the network announced that it’s making changes to its 9 p.m. Wednesday hour, inserting original episodes of “Nanny 911” into that spot for the next two weeks before the Major League Baseball playoffs throw the whole schedule out of whack.
Once baseball is over, Fox will kick off the second season of “Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy” in the 9 p.m. Wednesday slot, starting Nov. 2. It can be seen locally on KCPQ, Channel 13.
“Head Cases” was an hourlong drama starring Chris O’Donnell and Adam Goldberg about two lawyers who live together after being treated for psychological problems. O’Donnell’s character had a nervous breakdown after his wife left him and Goldberg’s character had anger management issues.
Stay out of his way for at least a couple of weeks.
