• New invasive pests workshop, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 10; $20 or $25 for two people sharing materials.. Growing fresh fruits and vegetables just got more difficult with the arrival of two new voracious insect pests, the spotted winged drosophila and the brown marmorated stink bug. Learn management techniques for both from WSU Extension researchers.

• Tool care and sharpening, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 14; $20 or $25 for two people sharing materials. Learn sharpening techniques, then sharpen your own tools. Bring a grinding stone, file or Dremel tool with a grinding bit, plus safety glasses, an old towel and gloves.
