Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop has scheduled its 11th annual Kids Bike Swap from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 9.
In the market for a bigger or different bike? Bring your child (and bike) to the swap and see if some new wheels fit.
There may be a nominal cost for the new bike depending on the condition of the trade-in. Please bring cash or checks. Credit cards are not accepted.
The bikes have been reconditioned by mechanics and volunteers. In fact, there are two more work parties from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday to prep bikes for the swap. All are welcome, experienced or not. Bike cleaners are needed too.
