“Complete French Meal” will be presented by Kathryn Marden from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at J. Matheson Kitchen and Gourmet, 2609 Colby Ave., Everett.
Marden is back to present dishes from France’s rich cuisine, such as sauteed pork loin chops with an apple sauce, pea puree, and scalloped potatoes baked in cream with garlic.

“Stocks and Soups” with chef James White will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kusler’s, 700 Ave. D, Snohomish.
White will prepare smoked chicken and wild rice soup and a classic clam chowder. He will share techniques for making Chinese egg-drop soup.

The Kitchen Door will present a class taught by resident bad-boy chef Kirk Francis in his own kitchen. Eight students can attend the event and make Italian comfort food.
The class will take place at 4 p.m. April 29 at Francis’ house. Cost is $120.
