GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. — The diverse plant community at the Grand Canyon soon will be on display at the national park.
The park will open an exhibit July 2 that features 50 botanical illustrations of interesting, rare or sensitive plants that were produced by volunteers.
Interpretive text and large-scale photographs help tell the story of the plants through history.
Park Superintendent Steve Martin said the Grand Canyon has one of the greatest plant diversity of any national park.
The exhibit will be housed in the Kolb Studio at the canyon’s South Rim and will be free to the public. It will be open daily through Aug. 31.
