Look good, feel better, for women with cancer, 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Monday of each month and 6 to 8 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month. Trained cosmetologists teach women with cancer how to cope with skin changes and hair loss. Register by calling the American Cancer Society at 800-227-2345.

Breast cancer Q&A for deaf women, 9 a.m. to noon April 2, Providence Comprehensive Breast Center, Pavilion for Women & Children, Suite 200. Working with an American Sign Language interpreter, take part in an ongoing question and answer session, learn breast self-exam skills, take guided tours of the breast center and, for patients without insurance, learn how to get financial help.

Childbirth preparation, four two-hour sessions 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays or two four-hour sessions 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays; $95 per couple. Call for dates.
