Fitness

Yoga for a healthy mind and body, 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, $12 per class. Your first class is free.

Drop-in grief support group, 2:30 to 4 p.m. first and third Tuesdays of each month. This year-round group does not require registration. You may attend as often as you find it helpful.

Childbirth center tour and tea, 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26. Learn about the nursing expertise at the childbirth center, the infant security system and childbirth options. Tour the family-centered private birthing suites, which include private whirlpool baths. Refreshments served. Registration required.

Early days of grief support group, 6:30 to 8 p.m. second Wednesday of every month. This group is for people who are in the first year of mourning the death of a loved one.

Preoperative joint class, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. second and fourth Fridays of every month. Knee or hip joint surgery patients and loved ones learn what to expect before, during and after surgery. Registration is required.

Journey of grief support group, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 25. This six-week group helps participants learn about grief and loss after the death of a loved one.

Infant CPR and safety, 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 26; $40 per couple. Parents, grandparents and anyone caring for a newborn or infant up to age 1 can benefit from this class.

Empower-yourself weight loss, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26. Learn how nutrition, exercise and positive lifestyle changes can help people lower their weight and improve their health.

Banff Film Festival returns to Everett on Feb. 27

The festival will showcase a variety of films centering on the outdoor community, including Banff’s 2025 Best Film winner, “Best Day Ever.”

The new “Lift Zone” at the Granite Falls Boys and Girls Club will offer free WiFi, 3D printers, desktop computers and laptops, robotics kits and multimedia production equipment. It will also have live-streaming capabilities, host resume-building and job-search workshops, and offer academic support programs.
