Garden pro to speak: The Snohomish Garden Club’s next regular monthly meeting will feature guest speaker Greg Butler, a local landscape designer and instructor.
Butler, who will speak at the 7 p.m. Feb. 14 meeting at the Snohomish Senior Center, 506 Fourth St., Snohomish, is the longtime owner of Design of the Times, a garden and landscape design and consultation firm.
He offers individual coaching sessions as well as design, installation and maintenance. He also teaches a landscape renovation class at Edmonds Community College. Butler helped create the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden, and was the project manager for the relocation of Elda Behm’s Paradise Garden and the historic Seike Japanese Garden, to make room for the Sea-Tac Airport expansion.
The club meets the second Monday of the month September through May, and meetings are open to the public. Annual membership dues are $20 per person.
