Garden competition: Edmonds gardeners can submit entry forms for the competition through July 3. Entry forms are available at Garden Gear, Edmonds Library, Frances Anderson Center, Bountiful Home and the Log Cabin. Drip irrigation: Master gardener Jeff Thompson will explain drip irrigation systems in a hands-on workshop sponsored by WSU-Snohomish County Extension from 1 to 3:30 p.m. or from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 18 at the Extension Education Center at McCollum Park, 600 128th St., SE, Everett. Sorticulture: Everett’s Garden Arts Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 7 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 8, Legion Memorial Park, 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett.
