Climbing Clematis: Learn to bring the amazing beauty and variety of clematis to your garden with ease. The Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens is hosting a “Clematis: Queen of the Climbers” class at 6 p.m. June 9 via Zoom. A Zoom link to the class will be emailed with registration. Evergreen Arboretum: The Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens is hosting a plant sale 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 19 and noon to 4 p.m. June 20 at American Legion Memorial Park, 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett. Septic sense: The Snohomish Conservation District is hosting a “Septic Sense” webinar from 6 to 8 p.m. July 2 via Zoom. Pruning 101: The Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens is hosting a “Summer Pruning” class at 6 p.m. July 14 via Zoom. A Zoom link to the class will be emailed with registration. Trevor Cameron, general manager of Sunnyside Nursery, will go over basic rules of pruning, concentrating on spring-blooming shrubs (like rhododendrons and azaleas) and thinning of trees for summer health and lasting beauty.
