Butterflies in the Garden (and Beyond): Develop a greater appreciation for butterflies. Repair Cafe: Have broken stuff laying around your home or garage? Bring it to the Repair Cafe, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 22, WSU Snohomish County Extension’s Education Center, 600 128th St. SE, Everett. Repair Cafes are all about fixing stuff instead of throwing those items into the landfill. Snohomish County residents are encouraged to bring in their beloved broken items to get repair help from local repair specialists — for free. Repairable items might include a broken lamp, ripped jeans that need stitching, a vase that needs gluing or a vacuum belt that needs replacing. Hosted by Washington State University Snohomish County Extension’s Sustainable Community Stewards. Registration is recommended so that you know what parts to bring with you. Walk-ins are welcome.
