Garden designer to speak at Snohomish club meeting
Garden designer Lorrie Cain will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Snohomish Garden Club, set for 7 p.m. March 13 at the Snohomish Senior Center, 506 4th St., Snohomish.
Cain, a Washington State Certified Professional Horticulturist, has run Lorrie Cain Garden Designs since 2009.

Find out about the owls in your neighborhood at a virtual presentation planned by the Friends of Camano Island Parks as part of its Camano Wildlife Habitat Project.
The presenter will be Shona Aitken, Education Coordinator at Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, headquartered in Friday Harbor.

Rock & gem club sets annual sale
The Maplewood Rock and Gem Club plans its annual Rock & Mineral Sale for 10 a.m.-5 p.m. April 1-2 at 8802 196th St. SW, Edmonds.
A variety of vendors will offer gems, rocks, slabs, crystals, beads, rough, cabochons, gems, fossils, gift item, and more, both rough and carved, big and small.
