The Riverside is a traditional farmhouse with many eye-catching features.

The large column posts on the covered porch, numerous windows, double louvered vents at the peak of the two different rooflines, and the brick that has been used for cornices on the two-car garage and across the face of the home all add to the attractive facade.

The long great room at the rear of the home is visible from the entry. To the left are French doors that open into a den or optional living room. Because it is set off from the rest of the home, it would also make a perfect in-home office.

The great room has a large fireplace on the rear wall and small arches at the entry. To the left of the great room is the nook and kitchen. The nook has patio doors opening to the rear deck and backyard. An eating bar faces the nook.

The C-shaped kitchen has lots of counter space and cabinets and a pantry on the wall between the kitchen and the great room.

The right side of the Riverside holds the master suite. It has a large main area with a long walk-in closet on the right side. The master bath has an oversized spa tub and a shower. Two sinks with a linen closet are on the opposite wall. Just outside the master suite is the utility room with a door to the garage and a half bath.

Halfway up the landing to the second floor is a window seat. There are three bedrooms and a game/family room upstairs.

Bedroom 2 has a corner walk-in closet while bedrooms 3 and 4 each have wall closets. A full bath with a tub is between bedrooms 3 and 4, but bedroom 4 has a full bath with a shower. This would be ideal for a guest suite.

In the hall outside the bedrooms is a computer loft with bookshelves on the opposite wall. The large game room is up a couple of steps from the level of the bedrooms.

This shell-shaped vase would make a fine souvenir of summer fun

It may not be a real shell, but this art nouveau piece could still evoke fond memories of days at the beach.
