‘In the Name of the King’
“In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale” is the story of a man named Farmer who sets out to rescue his kidnapped wife and avenge the death of his son — two acts committed by the Krugs, a race of animal-warriors controlled by the evil Gallian. The film opens today without screenings for reviewers. Jason Statham plays Farmer, with Ray Liotta (left) as Gallian and John Rhys-Davies (right) as Merick in the film, which is based on a video game. Other stars include Ron Perlman, Leelee Sobieski, Matthew Lillard, Kristanna Loken and Burt Reynolds. The film, rated PG-13 for intense battle sequences, is showing at Alderwood Mall, Everett, Galaxy Monroe, Marysville, Meridian and Cascade Mall.
