Indulge your tastebuds this weekend at the Olympic Peninsula Wineries’ Northwest Wine and Cheese Tour, while taking in the Olympic Peninsula’s scenic beauty.
Visit any or all of the eight wineries at your leisure from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for wine tastings and samples of artisan cheeses from Northwest producers.
Advance tickets for the self-guided tour are $25 and include a commemorative wine glass and tastings at all eight wineries. Purchase tickets at www.olympicpeninsulawineries.org. Further information (including maps) is available at the website or 800-785-5495.
Visitors who don’t have advance tickets can purchase tastings for $5 at each winery.
Participating wineries are Finnriver Farm of Chimacum; FairWinds Winery, Sorensen Cellars, and Eaglemount Wine and Cider, all in Port Townsend; and Olympic Cellars, Black Diamond Winery, Camaraderie Cellars and Harbinger Winery, all in Port Angeles.
Cheeses will be provided by Mystery Bay Farms of Marrowstone Island; Port Townsend’s Mount Townsend Creamery and Whiskey Hill Farm; Pleasant Valley Dairy of Ferndale; Willapa Hills Farmstead of Doty; and Gothberg Farm, Golden Glen Creamery and Samish Bay Cheese Company, all of Bow.
