Jell-O gelatin announces its Jiggle &Giggle contest for kid comedians.

In celebration of Bill Cosby’s 30-year anniversary as Jell-O brand spokesperson, Jell-O is hosting a comedy contest for kids to share some of their humor and fun with the world.

Parents can enter their kids for a chance to win the grand prize of an all-expense paid trip for four to New York City and to the Jell-O Museum in LeRoy, N.Y., to appear with Cosby.

To enter, parents should film kids performing one movement, a “jiggle,” telling one joke, a “giggle,” and submit those in VHS or DVD format. The video should be no more than five minutes in length.

Kids must be between the ages of 7 and 10 at the time of entry, and must be available to come to New York with a family member or guardian from June 5 to 8.

All entries must be received by 2 p.m. May 17 and should be sent to “The Jell-O Jiggle &Giggle Contest,” 41 Madison Ave., Fifth Floor, New York, NY 10010.

For rules, visit www.jell-o.com or call 212-679-6600, ext. 243.

Parade magazine presents the second annual “Great American Bake Sale” in an effort to end child hunger in America.

Parade magazine’s Bake Sale continues through July 25. Through that time, Americans are encouraged to register at www.greatamericanbakesale.org and participate by hosting a “Great American Bake Sale” in their communities.

All money raised will be donated to Share Our Strength, which will then make grants to nonprofits fighting child hunger in the United States.

In addition, “The Great American Bake Sale” is searching for 10 kids ages 13 to 17 to attend Camp Great American Bake Sale this summer at the Betty Crocker Kitchens in Minneapolis.

Attendees at the camp will have the opportunity to bolster their baking skills and learn how to organize a fund-raising bake sale in their communities.

To apply for the camp, visit www.bettycrocker.com/bakingcamp.
