Choosing not to wait until the network’s official fall schedule presentation on Thursday, Fox Entertainment President Peter Liguori announced that a third full season of “Arrested Development” has been ordered.
One of the best shows on television, “Arrested’s” fate was in jeopardy after a second consecutive season of low ratings. Even though more people watched Fox shows such as “The Swan 2” and “Life on a Stick,” Liguori made a brilliant move in keeping the show, and made many fans happy with the annoucement.
“‘Arrested Development’ is one of the best comedies on television. The decision to order another season becomes easy when you consider its amazing cast, creative brilliance, critical acclaim and advertiser appeal,” Liguori said in a press release. “It’s my first official pick-up since taking the job, and I think it’s a great way to start.”
So do we, Peter. So do we.
