PBS will encore Ken Burns’ marvelous rendering of the Lewis and Clark expedition in “Lewis &Clark: The Journey of the Corps of Discovery,” airing at 8 p.m. Tuesday and July 16 on KCTS.
Slipper-y slope: Most people have forgotten but Helena Bonham Carter and Kenneth Branagh used to be an “item.”
Now happily married to other people, they will reunite for Branagh’s version of “Cinderella,” a live-action feature from Disney.
Cate Blanchette will portray the wicked stepmother, and Lily James plays the little girl of the cinders.
Crack up: The tragic story of champion snowboarder Kevin Pearce is the subject HBO’s documentary “The Crash Reel,” premiering July 15.
Filmed by Lucy Walker, the documentary follows Pearce’s journey from high stakes competition to stunning disability.
Odd couple: Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence have just signed a deal to co-star in a sitcom for FX. They will play lawyers with very different backgrounds who become BFFs.
