* “Butterflies &Blooms” reopens for its seventh year and features nearly 1,000 butterflies, representing 35 to 50 North American species, flowering plants and an outdoor conservation garden, through Sept. 30, $2 in addition to zoo admission.

* “Masters of the Web,” a new spider exhibit featuring a variety of exotic and local spiders, educational information, interactive experiences, through Oct. 31.
