Edmonds Parks and Recreation has opened registration for dozens of summer camps, giving children a chance to stay active during their break.
Some day camps run all summer long, keeping kids busy for the entire break with crafts and field trips.
Other camps run for shorter periods, focusing on specific areas of interest. For instance, a five-day Lego camp playfully teaches engineering basics, while a three-day girls basketball camp is meant to improve fundamentals in the sport.
