It’s your last chance to receive comic redemption this weekend in Edmonds as the Driftwood Players put on one final weekend’s worth of performances of the hilarious musical “Nunsense.”
The story is based on the Little Sisters of Hoboken who display their divine talents in a benefit musical revue to raise money for their fallen Sisters — unfortunate victims of a convent cooking accident.
Mother Superior and her order of eccentric nuns show the lighter side of being Catholic that includes devilishly funny dance numbers, snappy songs and lots of irreverent wit.
Directed by Carissa Meisner Smit with choreography by Janet McNeil, music direction by Michael Corey
and featuring Anne Arnhold, Amanda Moniz-Falcone, Stacie Hart, Kere Loughlin-Presnal and Erin Sprow.
“Nunsene” performs at 8 p.m. April 22 and 23 and 2 p.m. April 24. Tickets are $23 for general and $20 for Juniors/Seniors/Military (18 and Under / 60 and Over). Call 425-774-9600 or purchase on-line at Driftwood Players.
