Rob Schneider, Deuce Bigalow himself, will perform his stand-up comedy act to a sold-out crowd on Saturday night at the Tulalip Resort Casino.
The comedian and actor, 48, became a household name during his long run with Saturday Night Live in the late ’80s.
He created characters including the Richmeister and Sensitive Naked Man.
In 1999, Schneider starred in the feature film, “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo,” a story about a fish-tank cleaner turned male prostitute. The sequel, 2005’s “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo,” was one of the worst movies made that year. These are boy-humor movies that are so bad, they’re funny.
That’s kind of what Schneider’s comedy is like.
He’s currently starring in a TV sitcom, “Rob,” about a landscape architect who marries into a close-knit Mexican-American family. From what critics have said, you’re more likely to laugh at his stand-up routine.
The show starts at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Orca Ballroom at the Tulalip Resort Casino. Tickets started at $30 and the show has been listed as sold out.
If you’re eager to go, try giving the casino a call at 888-272-1111 to see if any last-minute tickets are available.
