Keep it up: You’ve probably heard of the Adopt-a-Stream program, but now you can learn exactly how it works, thanks to a class presented by the Adopt-A-Stream Foundation and Snohomish County from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at McCollum Park in Everett.
By following the five-step adoption process, you and your school, community group or organization will be well on your way to becoming Streamkeepers.
Tickets, available by calling 425-316-8592, are $5 for members, $7 for nonmembers. McCollum Park is at 600 128th St. SE, Everett, a half-mile east of I-5 off Exit 186. See www.streamkeeper.org for more information.
