Trumpeters and tundras: Learn all about swans, some of the world’s largest waterfowl, including their life history, biology, habitat and migration patterns from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 17 at McCollum Park in Everett.
Martha Jordan, a well-known wildlife biologist, will present photographs and a lecture on Washington’s native trumpeter and tundra swans and will lead a guided field trip to one of the best night-roost viewing sites in the Snohomish Basin.
This event, geared toward adults and students in fifth grade or higher, is presented by the Adopt-A-Stream Foundation and Snohomish County as part of a Streamkeeper Academy series. Tickets, available by calling 425-316-8592, are $75 per person.
