The Los Angeles-based writer and artist, a James Beard nominee, will offer a cooking class and book signing from 1 to 3 p.m. July 11 at J. Matheson Kitchen &Gourmet, 2609 Colby Ave., Everett.
Gourmet described Lee’s 2009 book as “striking,” “a sensational guide to everyday Korean cuisine” with 70 recipes, all with prep times of no more than 30 minutes.
Registration for the class, which costs $27.50, is required. Seating is limited. Call 425-258-4589 to register. See www.jmatheson.com for details.
