It’s almost grilling season.
Just in time, Julie Reinhardt, author of “She-Smoke: A Backyard Barbecue Book,” will teach a class from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pacific Culinary Studio in Everett.
Reinhardt, co-owner of Smokin’ Pete’s BBQ of Ballard — ranked “7th in the West” by Sunset Magazine — will explain how to smoke ribs slow and low, including how to remove pesky meat membranes, how to make and apply a dry rub and the best smoking techniques for various fuel types.
Class admission is $45, which includes food and wine pairings.
