Learn to row: Have you ever looked at those sleek rowing shells gliding soundlessly by and thought, “I could do that”? Well, yes, you can, and the Everett Public Library is the place to start.
Show up at the library at 6 p.m. Wednesday for a demonstration by a coach from the Everett Rowing Association on how to get started in this sport that will improve your endurance, increase your strength and teach teamwork … because the boat won’t go anywhere unless everyone pulls together.
The library program, put together by the Everett Parks Department, is free and will point you to the Parks Department rowing classes. The library is at 2703 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Call 425-257-8000 for information or check the library’s Web site, www.epls.org/calendar.
