Fidalgo Island Quilters presents its 22nd annual quilt show 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Anacortes Middle School.
More than 300 items will be displayed at the show. In addition, the sixth annual Quilt Walk continues through April. Thirty downtown Anacortes merchants display more than 300 quilted items created by members of Fidalgo Island Quilters.
Both events are sanctioned events of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
Admission to the quilt show is $4, free for ages 12 and younger. The quilt walk is also free.

Sky Valley Stock &Antique Tractor Club hosts its Spring Gas Up today in Gold Bar.
The event is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the city park located along U.S. 2.
View antique and classic agricultural tractors, hit-n-miss engines and antique and classic garden tractors and engines. There will also be classic Studebaker cars and military trucks.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, participate in wire wrapping demonstrations and classes offered at the Bead Faire. Learn how to string beads and cut gemstones at one of the classes.
“From Vintage to Contemporary Beads” is the focus of the Bead Faire’s seminar and lecture series. Learn everything from the history of beads to the contemporary artists, from making your own beads to making your own jewelry with these beads.
