The Domaine Carneros Winery, an 18th-century style chateau, offers sample-sized bottle kits (at right) designed to send the tasting room experience home. You don’t have to pony up for a full bottle of untried wine or strip down for an airport security check. The 50-milliliter samples will be available in the Napa Valley tasting room for about $25. San Francisco-based Crushpad, a do-it-yourself winery, also offers its version, Tiny Bottles. Buy them online at tastingroom.com and www.brixr.com.
