People looking to restart their careers and get back into the workforce may want to check out a series of free workshops offered at the YWCA.
The three-hour classes are presented each week and are called “Pathways to Work.” They include topics such as goal setting, building self esteem, interview skills, how to get training, job search and resume creation. People may attend one or all classes.
Classes typically are offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Everett, Lynnwood and Stanwood on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, respectively. Classes in Monroe are held on Thursdays beginning at noon.
While there’s no fee, registration is required. For more information or to sign up, call 425-258-2766, ext. 226 or email bpatrykus@ywcaworks.org.
