50 YEARS AGO (1959)
Everett Fire Capt. Bill Wood helped Perry Wiggum load toys into his car for delivery to First Congregational Church. The toys would be distributed to church families in need. Assisting this year were personnel at Crescent Service, Steve’s Cycle Shop and women residents in the Cascadian Apartments.
The hustle and bustle of shopping was over and all was quiet in Everett. Keri, 6, and Vicki, 5, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Corcoran, had candles in their windows to help Santa Claus find his way.
