NBC announced Friday that its Wednesday night shows, “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart” and the Pentagon drama, “E-Ring,” will switch timeslots. That puts “E-Ring” on at 8 p.m. Wednesdays followed by “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart” at 9 p.m.
The network didn’t announce any reason for the change, but you might wonder if it has anything to do with the thinking that Stewart was battling Tyra Bank’s “America’s Next Top Model” head-to-head, which might share some viewers, while “E-Ring” was trying and failing to compete with “Lost.”
Either way, it’s starting to look like this whole “Apprentice” recipe is one that’s burning quickly for Martha.
