Meet Boeing writer Betsy Case, author of “Trailblazers: The Women of The Boeing Company” at J. Matheson Gifts, Kitchen and Gourmet on Friday and Saturday.
Case will sign her book from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days. The book-signing is part of the store’s 23rd anniversary celebration so the $35 book will be discounted by 23 percent.
The 73-page book covers the first women hired at Boeing to stitch linen wings and pound rivets on up to those who became flight attendants and pilots. It’s packed with historic photos that tell the stories of these trailblazers.
