Birders, book lovers and photography fans will want to meet Northwest author and photographer Paul Bannick at 2 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Everett Public Library.
Bannick, a Bellevue native, has put together a collection of action-packed photographs of owls and woodpeckers from across the country in his book, “The Owl and the Woodpecker: Encounters with North America’s Most Iconic Birds.”

Bannick will sign copies of his book following the presentation. The book, which lists at $26.95, will be for sale by The Bookworks of Marysville.
