The holiday throw-down known as “The Great Christmas Light Fight” is back. It’s a reality series that has some Clark Griswold wannabes decorating their homes to the extreme and competing for $50,000, which should be just enough to cover their electric bills. 8 p.m., ABC.
“TV’s Funniest Animated Stars: A Paley Center for Media Special” is a long-winded title for a program that counts down the 40 most iconic cartoon stars. Honorees include Mickey Mouse, Bart Simpson, Bugs Bunny, SpongeBob SquarePants and Scooby-Doo. 8 p.m., Fox.
Eva Longoria returns to TV in a special sneak peek of “Telenovela.” She stars as the sizzling hot star of a steamy soap opera filled with sex, scandals and various shenanigans. 10 p.m., NBC.
“U2: Innocence + Experience Live In Paris”: Here’s the concert special that was postponed in the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks. 9 p.m., HBO.
