For those of you, like me, who mourned last year’s final publication of “Gourmet” magazine, the publishers announced yesterday that they’ll revive the brand with three new editions.
For about $11, each special editions is expected to compile more than 80 recipes from the defunct magazine’s archives.
“We think Gourmet readers will be thrilled once they see this on the newsstand,” Frederika Brookfield, a spokesperson for the publisher, told The New York Times.
That might be the corporate line, but according to some of the people commenting on The Time’s Web site, it sounds like some readers still are complaining about stale refunds they say publisher Conde Nast is hording in the cupboard.
