Paul Kawabori is a singer and songwriter who will be performing Christmas classics and some of his original music in a concert tonight, “Home for Christmas with Paul Kawabori and Friends.”
The show begins at 7:30 at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church, 4514 84th St. SW, Mukilteo. Tickets to the concert, at $10, will support a capital improvements campaign for the church.
Kawabori will be backed by organ, percussion, bass, guitar, violin, flute and piano.
“Mukilteo has been my family’s home since 1999, and the Mukilteo Presbyterian Church has been a supportive base of wonderful friends for me,” Kawabori said.
Kawabori has been pursuing music full time in the Los Angeles area and has succeeded in getting his single “Don’t Stop Now,” at No. 19 on the FMQB adult contemporary radio charts, according to his press material about the concert.
Sing “Messiah”: The Everett Symphony Orchestra will present its seventh annual “Messiah” Sing-A-Long on Sunday.
The concert begins at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
The audience participates in this performance as the symphony plays the majestic sounds of George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah.”
