Blake Lewis in town
Former American Idol contestant Blake Lewis plans to celebrate his birthday by playing a 21-and-over show at the Jet Bar and Grill at 9 p.m. July 25.

Country in Stanwood
Country singer Trent Tomlinson performs Thursday at Blazing Saddles Restaurant and Lounge in Stanwood.
Doors open at 5, and the show starts at 8. Dinner, appetizers and drinks will be available.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. All proceeds will go to benefit Northwest Music Foundation, which helps local songwriters and musical artists with their careers.
Also at Blazing Saddles, country singer Eric Church makes a return engagement Aug. 3.
Church, who played to a sold-out crowd at the club last October, is known for his hits “Two Pink Lines,” “How ‘Bout You” and “Guys Like Me.”

Holliday in Seattle
Jennifer Holliday will perform with the Seattle Men’s Chorus for two special holiday concerts Dec. 7 and 8 at Benaroya Hall in Seattle.
Seattle Men’s Chorus’ festive holiday concert is titled “Fruitcake.” The run begins Dec. 6 at Everett Civic Auditorium.
Tickets are on sale now for subscribers; individual tickets go on sale Nov. 3.
