Lacey D will perform in Tacoma
Country singer Lacey D will perform songs from her debut CD “Everyday Girl” at 1 p.m. today at the Taste of Tacoma at Point Defiance Park off Pearl Street in downtown Tacoma.
Lacey D, of Arlington, was profiled in a February story in The Herald.
Music on the Plaza
Care for a little marimba with those fries?
The Snohomish County Arts Commission, along with the county executive’s office, presents Music on the Plaza, a free concert series, starting July 9.
The fourth annual Music on the Plaza concert series runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 20 at the Snohomish County campus amphitheater at Rockefeller Avenue and Wall Street.
The series schedule is: July 9, Ed Hartman and the Olympic Marimba Band; July 16, Eric Madis, blues; July 23, SisterMonk, gypsy funk; July 30, Dub Championz, reggae; Aug. 6, Massy Ferguson, American roots music; Aug. 13, Los Flacos, Latin American music, and Aug. 20, Bob Strickland Group, jazz.
