Mike Marshall can make mandolin magic, creating bluegrass, “newgrass,” jazz, classical and Brazilian music.
In a rare performance, Marshall will premiere his new concerto for solo mandolin for one night only at 8 p.m. June 16 at Wade James Theatre, 950 Main St., Edmonds. He will be joined by Seattle Mandolin Orchestra and Emerald City Mandolin Quartet.
